This is me: kdramadreamer zhaoul

Hello everyone. I’m Zhaoul and I love Kdramas, movies and TV in general. I discovered the world of Asian Dramas back in the summer of 2013. It all began with my manga and anime obsession. I was reading Skip Beat at the time. It’s still one of my favourites. I then began to search more about it online and stumbled upon the Taiwanese drama version of the manga/anime. I watched it and I really enjoyed it. After that I started watching Kdramas and quickly began my obsession.

I like to marathon watch dramas. I feel like I’ve watched a lot in the last 8 months but I constantly want to watch more. I enjoy watching dramas based on other people’s recommendations and reviews.

I usually like to finish a drama I start, but sometimes I do lose interest. Most of them whoever, I do finish, or go back to at a later date.

You might notice while exploring my blog that I really like drawing. I try to throw in some fan art here and there. I’m a graphic designer on top of being a TV junkie, so I really enjoy making banners and putting an artistic twist on things.

  2. I’m really glad to have discovered your blog. It has rich material on Korean shows and movies, and being a fan of Korean cinema, Directors, and actors, I’m ecstatic to know that I’ve only encountered the tip of the iceberg so far. Your blog has opened up many new horizons for me to discover and enjoy in terms of quality entertainment, especially with regards to Korean dramas, something I haven’t been fortunate to view yet, as it has all been about Korean movies up until now. Keep up the amazing work. I’ll make it a point to regularly check on your blog from now on.
BTW, thanks for the follow. If you’re interested in Indian movies, you can always search for all the latest reviews of Bollywood films along with the common Hollywood one son my blog. Your feedback will be most appreciated.

  4. Wow. The anime Skip Beat is how I stumbled upon the world of Korean Drama. I’ve almost forgotten about regular tv. Do you know about MyDramaList.com ? Great place to keep track of kdramas & share/ discuss. They have a handmade section on the forums for kdrama art.

  6. TV in England is really boring, so I do watch mostly American TV, but a friend introduced me to Korean Dramas and I love them all!,

  7. I’m like you as well! I started out with my manga and anime obsession and I met my best friends through them. Then we began to eventually turn our interests to kpop and kdramas. Sadly, my best friends no longer read mangas or watch animes while I still do. I’m so glad to finally meet someone who likes both anime and asian dramas! What is your favourite anime/manga btw?

      1. My favourite anime is Black Butler, Detective Conan and One Piece. I used to watch Naruto when I was young but I never managed to keep up with the recent episodes. I did watch all the Naruto movie though and they are awesome! I love Skip Beat as well and I am still following it. I haven’t heard of the other mangas that you mentioned but I will check them out! I can’t wait for your Manga/Anime posts!

      2. 1/2 Prince and The One are both manhuas (Taiwanese). The One is really sad in parts and can be pretty sexy, while 1/2 prince is a gender bender with a virtual reality video game.
