Zhaoul’s To do List

Descendants of the Sun post-it note

Hey everyone,

Wow… I haven’t posted in quite some time. I’m still around and well although life has been a little hectic. I’m quite exited because Descendants of the Sun starts tonight. Other than that, I’ve been Watching Madame Antoine and One More Happy Ending. I also started and almost finished Mask, but I’ve been stuck on the last couple episodes. I did start Gaekju, but I fell so far behind that I’ve set it aside for now. I’m disappointed in myself, because I really wanted to watch it for Jang Hyuk, but forty plus episodes seems so daunting.

Let’s hope that Descendants of the Sun is enjoyable.

Bye for now 🙂

Ahhhhhhhhh! Spazz attack! Okay, okay. So I watched the 8 minute Bubblegum Kdrama teaser and my excitement for the drama continues to grow. I was originally going to make a coherent and analytical post dissecting the teaser, but let’s not kid ourselves. I’m in no state of mind to do this. I want to simply enjoy it, leisurely screen cap and make collages from it because it’s fun. Plus, I’m at a disadvantage because I don’t know what they are saying.

When Hotel King first came out, I was very intrigued. I wasn’t familiar with Lee Dong Wook at the time, but I did really liked Lee Da Hae. I attempted to watch it when it first aired, but ten minutes into the first episode, I saw how very intense it was going to be. Back then, I was burning out on melodramas so I decided to wait, but happily browsed recap posts so i could still get a taste of the drama. Finally, over a year later, in the midst of my Lee Dong Wook obsession, I decided this was the moment to sit and watch.

5 Things I like about Lee Dong Wook

A couple months ago if you had asked me what I thought of Korean Actor Lee Dong Wook, I probably would have said “Meh, I dunno. Haven’t seen him in much and don’t really have an opinion”. Well, boy did that change. After finally watching the Kdrama “Scent of a Woman” I decided to board the crazy train and go down a very interesting and fulfilling journey discovering Lee Dong Wook’s projects. I’m still in the process of doing so, therefore I’m going to keep this short as more of a teaser post.

Now I’m not going to pretend to claim that all of his works are masterpieces, but I did find some marvelous ones I really enjoy. I plan to review quite a few of them, so I won’t blab on about specifics, but will give you a few reasons I’ve come to love and respect this actor in a short period of time.
