Ahhhhhhhhh! Spazz attack! Okay, okay. So I watched the 8 minute Bubblegum Kdrama teaser and my excitement for the drama continues to grow. I was originally going to make a coherent and analytical post dissecting the teaser, but let’s not kid ourselves. I’m in no state of mind to do this. I want to simply enjoy it, leisurely screen cap and make collages from it because it’s fun. Plus, I’m at a disadvantage because I don’t know what they are saying.
I will say, the intro is super cute but the drama definitely looks like a rom com/melo hybrid. I don’t think it will be as clear-cut as “simply a rom com”, but I’m hoping and believing that they can find the balance between the two. They do give it a playful feel, but my impression is they will be digging deep into the characters (which I’m totally cool with and welcome).

I loved the cute opening a lot but to be honest, I thought the long trailer a bit underwhelming or may be I just expected it would leave me with stronger impression.
But as you said, without subtitles it is hard to judge and I learned not to get affected by teasers/trailers that much and this drama has lots of potential and I hope the execution won’t disappoint us.
Today the journey starts and I will be waiting for your impression ^^

Yea. I know what u mean by teasers. They can be misdirecting anyway. I’ll let you know what I think, but it’s no secret, my views will probably be quite bias. This cast is really stacked in my favor. I think it’ll be very difficult for me not to find the positive s in the drama, but we’ll see.
